Archive reconstruction
The original Political Hurricane article body is missing from our recovered database. This page preserves the historical title, date and URL and reconstructs only what can be verified from surviving contemporary coverage.
The original headline records The Political Hurricane’s support for Lisa King in the January 2017 contest for chair of the Florida Democratic Party.
SaintPetersBlog’s January 13, 2017 Sunburn roundup specifically linked to “Lisa King is the best choice for Florida Democratic Party chair” and attributed the piece to Dave Trotter of The Political Hurricane. Contemporary coverage of the same race described King as a Duval County state committeewoman and one of several candidates seeking to succeed Allison Tant.
Other contemporaneous commentary described King as focused on party bylaws, diversity and inclusion in the state executive committee, though those views came from separate writers and are included here only as context for the race.
This archival page does not reconstruct the missing endorsement argument or present the historical preference as the position of the current publication.
